Welcome to my first post.
Ive been in the UK for about 1 month now and have ended up in Maidstone which is about 1 hour south of London. I am in the process of finding work at the moment and also trying to avoid finding work by doing this. Here is a quick introduction to my flat:
Off the street past the big red van and green bins, take a sharp right and you are in. Isn’t she a beauty? The block you see is not all ours unfortunately, we only get the back bottom windowless corner.
Maidstone is actually quite a nice place to live. Lots of old buildings as you would expect, a river type thing and even a park.

Rach has a job here at the local council so we will be around for at least three months, then we will see where the wind blows us!
